• In the 22th week of the Iran’s professional league, Perspolis defeated Sepahan 2-1. In the match held in Azadi stadium, Mehdi Taremi opened the scoring for Perspolis from penalty spot in the 56th minute but Talb Reikani leveled the score 25minutes later from penalty spot.  In the 87th minute, Ramin Rezaeian scored the second goal for Perspolis and put his team on the lead. In the match, Ahsan Hajsafi recieved two yellow card and sent off.

  • In the 14th week of handball league, Hepco Arak defeated Sepahan 27-26 but Sepahan is currently standing in the 3th place of the table.

  • On the second day of Asian track cycling championship in India, Amirhossein Jamshidian managed to get a gold medal in the Scratch event and stood on top of the podium in youth division.

  • The former Asian footballer of the year with a contract joined Sepahan football club on loan until the end of the season.

  • The 20th week of Iran’s Persian Gulf premier league, Peykan hosted Sepahan and defeated this team 3-2. Aref Gholami scored an own goal for Sepahan. In the following Godwin Mensha scored two goals for Peykan in the 43th minute (from penalty spot) and 55th minute and put his team on the lead, while Ehsan Hajsafi and Masoud Hasanzadeh pulled two goals back in the 67th and 84th minute, respectively.
